HUSKY Ford F-350 Camper 1967. The first models featured dark grey one-piece plastic wheels and chromed plastic bases. diecast pickup with windows but no interior. (Later Husky versions also packaged as Husky 85) 78mm. Husky (Corgi) used this basic casting a few times and here it has a fun cab-over camper back of the sort which would probably be demountable in real life. Like many Huskies it is hard to find one in reasonable condition

MATCHBOX LESNEY - diecast Tyre Fryer

MATCHBOX lesney  - Tyre Fryer 1972. Made in England
Really strange rear engined machine from the fevered imaginations at Lesney back in the seventies. There is a massive, overscaled V8 engine on the back with 'Ford' cast into the rocker covers.
Tyre Fryer was made from 1972 through to 1977. The core 1-75 range product was always metallic blue some in lighter and some in darker shades. The base is either unpainted or black. Of these the one to look for is pale metallic blue with an unpainted base. The real prize though is a code 2 version, a promotional model made by the factory for Jaffa oranges in 1977. It is orange with yellow seats with a label on the bonnet reading Jaffa Mobile.

MATCHBOX LESNEY - diecast Mod Tractor

MATCHBOX lesney  - Mod Tractor 1972. Made in England
Yet another strange vehicle from the Lesney company in the 1970s, this is a hot-rod farm tractor with a V8 engine, fat tyres and a chopper seat, if you look at the engine it has 'Cobra' cast into the rocker covers. Wild.
The Mod Tractor was added to the 1-75 range in 1972. Up to 1978 it was made in metallic purple, from 1976 to 1979 it was also made in red. the red one always has a yellow seat and a black base. The metallic purple one can have a red or a yellow seat and can have lights cast into the rear mudguards or not and the base can be black or unpainted.
The one to look for is the metallic purple release with a red seat, next best is metallic purple with a yellow seat and lights cast into the rear mudguards. The remaining versions are all of a similar, fairly low, value.
